Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, located in New Songdo City, South Korea, hosted the KLPGA Korea Women’s Open Aug. 23-26. Finishing at 7 under par, MeeLim Lee took a two-shot victory, along with a car and her $130,000 share of the $600,000 purse. The tournament entertained approximately 50,000 guests with an exciting four days of challenging golf during which only 10 players finished under par.

With a full field of 132 players participating last month, the tournament was the tour’s largest to date.

”This course made me think again, about what golf as a sport is,” said Ja Young Kim, a three-time winner in 2012 and the likely Player of the Year. “The winner of this course is the true winner of golf.”
