Course Overview

The Club at Emerald Hills is one of South Florida’s finest championship golf courses, recognized by Golf Digest as one of its “Best Places to Play”. The club opened in 1969 and has been a host site for the PGA Tour Doral and Honda Open Qualifiers, U.S. Open, U.S. Senior Open, U.S. Amateur, U.S. Mid-Amateur, and U.S. Public Links qualifiers as well as several local PGA events.

The purpose of the redevelopment is to make improvements that will enhance the Emerald Hills community now and for many generations to come. The Developers have proposed to build on less than 10% of the existing golf course property.

The Club at Emerald Hills will be an 18-hole golf course redesigned by Nicklaus Design, a tennis center, new state-of-the-art clubhouse, a resort-style pool, kids club, fitness facility, catering and special event space, restaurant, hammock garden, members only area, conference center, and much more. Less than 10% of the existing golf course will be set aside for residential redevelopment.

Nicklaus Design will transform the golf course into one of the most prestigious 18-hole golf courses in South Florida. The course will be enjoyable and fun for the average player, while still challenging for more experienced players. The redesign will take into consideration the distinct character of Emerald Hills.
