The golf course is distinguished by having golf holes on both Oceanside and Mountainside locations of the site. The front nine, along with 4 holes of the back nine, are found on beautifully landscaped, gentle undulating terrain, adjacent to the Bay of Temae. The 5 mountainside holes in the middle of the back nine, provide challenging play through golf corridors lined with tropical foliage and rock outcroppings, along with having breathtaking views to the ocean.

The golf course is designed to accommodate both the recreational golfer, as well as challenge the serious player. Wide, generous landing areas provide the opportunity for all golfers to immediately challenge the golf course, setting up the more strategic play into the greens. The large greens, reflecting their surrounding terrain, will provide containment for the well-placed shot. Putting, both on and off the green, will be encouraged with surrounding fairway hollows. Sand Bunkers, moderate in number and varying in size, will defend the course in strategic locations.

Hole #1 (406 Yds/371 M – par 4)
The first hole at Temae Resort is an excellent starting hole, playing slightly left to right, providing golfers the opportunity to get away easily to a generously wide fairway. From the tee, a well-placed 3 wood to the left side of the fairway will land safely short of a fairway bunker, and in position for a clear approach into the green. Tee shots to the right, will risk entering a large sand hazard, and provide poor entry into a green guarded by a greenside bunker on the right.

Hole #2 (424 Yds/388 M – par 4)
Playing directly into the breeze coming off of the ocean, the tee shot on hole #2 will carry a scenic waterway, which meanders in from the ocean. The strategic play is to challenge the right side fairway bunker, and gain as much length as possible. The green is angled from right to left, and guarded by bunkers at the right front and back left. A deep fairway hollow, at the left side of the green will collect all errant shots.

Hole #3 (569 Yds/520 M – par 5)
The 3rd hole is a long, adventurous, par 5 that plays straight away off the tees. A small carry bunker, located in the center of the fairway, gives immediate attention to placement of the tee shot. The proper shot will carry the bunker and stay to the left side of the fairway. Errant left is out-of-bounds; errant right will find a large sand bunker. The second shot requires precision, whether you play it as a two or three shot hole. Entrance into this green is from left to right. The green is defended by 2 bunkers at the right front, and by deep fairway hollows on 3 sides. With landform support at the back left, the green drains off in 3 different directions.

Hole #4 (467 Yds/427 M- par 4)
The longest of the par 4’s, hole #4 requires an accurately long tee shot, in order to attack the green. The landing area is generously wide, short off the tee, but narrows considerably as it approaches the fairway bunkers on either side. The green, playing right to left, has bunkers located at the short right, right front, and left side of the green. The green pitches from back to front, with a small section draining out to a fairway hollow on the right side of the green.

Hole #5 (411 Yds/376 M – par 4)
One of the most scenic of the Oceanside holes, hole #5 plays over water to a undulating fairway framed by 3 fairway bunkers. Gaining an advantage by being long off the tee, will require precise accuracy in order to navigate these bunkers. The green is angled to accommodate a left to right shot playing in. The green is guarded well by bunkers on left and right side of the green.

Hole #6 (187 Yds/171 M – par 3)
A beautiful par 3 of challenging length, and difficulty. A large formidable cross-bunker is situated 20 yards short of the green, creating a visual distraction for the tee shot. Bunkers, short left, back left, and back right, provide equally demanding focus to a green set in, playing left to right. Fairway hollows on three sides, will give golfers opportunity to putt from outside the green surface.

Hole #7 (363 Yds/332 M – par 4)
This short par 4 rewards both distance and accuracy. With a slight dog-leg to the right, the challenge will be to stay long and right, yet avoid a very large bunker hugging the right fairway edge. From this position, access to the green is open, avoiding greenside bunkers at the front left and back right. The green is perched up, providing a challenging target, as well as spectacular views to the ocean. Standing on the green, immediate access to the beach and water is a lag putt away.

Hole #8 (150 Yds/137 M – par 3)
The shortest of the par 3’s, hole #8 provides an incredibly scenic view over lake, with a backdrop of the mountains. Rock walls, supporting the tees and green, have been built from native coral, to creating a visually stunning golf hole. A proper tee shot will carry the water to a green pitching from back to front. Fairway bailout is located at the front and back right of the green.

Hole #9 (434 Yds/397 M – par 4)
With beautiful views to the open lagoon on the left, this hole plays dog-leg left. Challenging the fairway bunker on the left will position the golfer appropriately for access into the green. The second shot requires a forced carry over water to a green protected on both sides by bunkers. Attacking the green too aggressively will result in a quick exit at the back of the green.

Hole #10 (392 Yds/358 M – par 4)
Hole 10 is a risk reward hole that allows the golfer to take on the risk of a water hazard, which traverses the entire length of the right side of the hole. A too safe play to the left fairway off the tee, will result in the shot being kicked out of the fairway into the rough. Dependent on how one has challenged the golf hole, positioning to this green is critical. The green is tucked next to the lake, and guarded by a bunker on the left front. This is a somewhat short, but very demanding golf hole.

Hole #11 (153 Yds/140 M – par 3)
This short par 3 will provide plenty of thrill and excitement from tee to green. Playing over the surrounding landform of the green, the putting surface will be blind from the tees. However, an accurate shot with proper distance will safely land to a simple green angled from left to right, gently pitching to the center, and then channeled out to the back right. Deep greenside bunkers on either side frame the narrow entrance to the green.

Hole #12 (343 Yds/314 M – par 4)
One of the shortest par 4’s, hole 12 plays uphill into the mountain, and dog-legs strongly to the right. Challenging the hole requires taking on a large, deep, waste bunker, on the right side of the hole. A proper tee shot will start out towards the landing area, and fade strongly to the right, carrying the hazard. The small receptive green will reward the accurate play, but errant shots right or left of the green will leave difficult positions for the next play.

Hole #13 (412 Yds/377 M – par 4)
The views from these tees provide spectacular views of the golf course and the ocean. The golf hole plays dramatically downhill, with a strong dog-leg to the right. A well placed tee shot will hug the right side of the fairway at the landing area. However, a deep fairway bunker nestled into a supporting landform will test the confidence of most players. The second shot is a forced carry over a mountain stream, which crosses the fairway, short of the green. The elevated green is guarded by small pot bunkers in the front, and is visible in only small areas of the front and side.

Hole #14 (218 Yds/199 M/ – par 3)
The longest of the par 3’s, hole 14 plays downhill to a long snake-like green protected on either side by formidable bunkers. The proper tee shot will land just short of the green, allowing the ball to feed in and carry on to the putting surface. Dramatic landforms and rock outcroppings frame the green to the left and behind the hole.

Hole #15 (440 Yds/402 M – par 4)
One of the most challenging holes, due to the length and accuracy required off the tee, #15 produces an exhilarating roller coaster ride from start to finish. A strong dog-leg to the right, the tee shot will need to hug the right fairway and be long enough to have visibility to the flag. Steep mountain slopes covered with unique tropical vegetation and rock faced outcroppings flank the right side of the hole. The left side of the hole falls off dramatically to dense island foliage below. The second shot plays uphill to an elevated green with limited visibility to the pin positions. A small pot bunker, at the front of the green, protects the green from aggressive play.

Hole #16 (609 Yds/557 M – par 5)
Wow! Is the first word that comes to mind when seeing the views from this hole. Stunning views of the resort and the ocean are visible from the highest point on the golf course. The longest par 5 plays over 200 feet downhill. The tee shot is for the driver only. The landing area has generous fairway width, but bunkers past this area on the left will narrow the fairway considerably for the golfer who tries to gain too much of an advantage. The second shot requires skillful placement whether playing as a 2 or 3 shot hole. The second landing area has strategically placed bunkers on both sides, requiring the golfer to lay up short or play over, gaining easier access to the green. The green is guarded by a small pot bunker in the front, and deep fairway hollows on the sides.

Hole #17 (288 Yds/263 M – par 4)
The shortest of the par 4’s, #17 provides the ultimate risk reward experience. The player can try and reach the green on the tee shot, but will be penalized for only the most precise golf shot. A large, deep bunker on three sides will surround the small, elevated green. The other option is to lay-up short of the bunker and try to pitch it on to a green, which is falling away, and to the right.

Hole #18 (463 Yds/423 M –par 4)
The captivating beauty of this finishing hole will provide many long lasting memories of the golf course. The stunningly beautiful water of an inlet lake provides the strategy for the hole. The tee shot is a forced carry over the lake to a fairway, which dog-legs to the right. The lake on the entire right side of the hole provides the golfer with the option of how much distance he feels he can carry safely to the fairway. The left fairway, at the landing area, is bunkered with sand to guard against overly aggressive play. The second shot to the green requires fortitude and precision. The green is a tough entry, with lake along the right edge, and bunkers located front left and back right.
