The Club at Morningside

Course Overview

When Jack Nicklaus agreed to design The Club at Morningside golf course, he was mindful that in all of Palm Springs—the winter golf capital of the world—Morningside would be the only course to bear his name. He promised a great one…and he has been true to his word. The golf course is the centerpiece of the entire Morningside community.

At Morningside, the fairways are raised, the approaches contoured, and many of the greens are tiered. This creates an undulating visual effect markedly different from other course layouts.

Important design details, are as omnipresent here as they are in The Club. Extensive beds of beautiful native flowers border the fairways. Ash, willow, eucalyptus, pine and flowering crepe myrtle trees supplement the native desert palms. Fairway turf extends to the sand in the bunkers and to the water in the lakes…subtle touches that make an extraordinary difference.

The Club at Morningside was designed to be enjoyed by all country club golfers. Members, their wives and guests, whatever their handicaps, find the course to be as interesting a test of their skills as the most advanced player.
