Jack Nicklaus II
Private
open 1993
The 27 hole Jack Nicklaus II golf course is designed to rival the finest courses in central Ohio. The Medallion course, designed and built to the specifications of the Nicklaus design team, offers three distinct nines which are named for their natural characteristics and location in the Medallion development.
The Preserve nine is a 3,458 yard, par 36 bordering the Hoover Nature Preserve. The Preserve course is lined with large strands of hardwood forest and traditional Ohio landscaping and waterways.
The Meadows nine, a par 36 at 3,547 yards, opens to rolling fairways with high grasses and prairie-like features reminiscent of Scottish links.
The Rookery nine skirts the 32 acre Blue Heron Rookery for a 3,526 yard par 36. Dotted with lakes and wetlands the Rookery course is among the most beautiful courses in central Ohio.
The Medallion Club blends a unique natural setting with a challenging and enjoyable golf course design. We started with a piece of property where we brought the natural elements into the design of the course. The design attempts to utilize and highlight the many features which are so unique at Medallion. As a result, I think you will enjoy the variety of the course which includes lakes, wetlands, hardwood forests and parklands. I wanted to preserve the natural beauty provided us by Mother Nature. I strongly believe that the natural setting very much shapes the overall character of the golf course, so I tried to bring as much of the surrounding environment as I could into the overall design of each hole.
We would love to bring your vision to life. Begin designing your course today.
