The award-winning, members-only Southshore Country Club is the first private Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in Nevada, an inspiration that rises to the ridge tops before falling away down rugged canyons to the sparkling lake below. Rising from the shoreline of Nevada’s largest privately owned lake to the desert hills, the private, 6,925-yard SouthShore Country Club draws upon Lake Las Vegas Resort’s unique topography to provide a one-of-a-kind golfing experience. For his first Nevada signature golf course, Jack carved out a dramatic layout creating a course with elevations ranging from 1,410 to 1,750 feet. For golfers of varying degrees of expertise, the par-71 masterpiece has generous fairways, up to five tee boxes per hole and offers strategic bunkering and forced carries over canyons and water.

Reflection Bay Golf Club is Jack’s second creation at Lake Las Vegas, and the first resort Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in the state. Crafted along the northern shore of the lake, every contour of this imaginative course is a rare reflection of the mind of a master. Five holes stretch along a mile and a half of peaceful shoreline, with emerald greens embracing the hillside property of the luxurious Hyatt Regency Resort. Measuring 7,184-yards, Jack has designed each of the par-72 golf course’s holes to be distinctive and memorable, including five holes stretching along a mile and a half of shoreline and the 200-yard, par-3 eighth which showcases a peninsula jutting out into Lake Las Vegas.

Lake Las Vegas Resort’s SouthShore Country Club hosted the 1996 and 1997 Wendy’s Three-Tour Challenge, one of professional golf’s most exciting competitions. Reflection Bay Golf Club has played host to the Wendy’s Three-Tour Challenge since 1998.

The lake’s vast shoreline and terraced hillsides are home to elegant Mediterranean residences and many unique offerings. The master plan for the private residential community of Southshore includes approximately 360 custom estate and waterfront home sites. In addition, distinctive courtyard villas, Venetian-style waterfront homes and luxury executive homes climb the hillsides. The northern shore of the lake will provide dramatic settings for family compound and custom home sites and attached residences. The homes provide breathtaking views of lake and desert, as well as the spectacular Las Vegas skyline and majestic mountains beyond.
