An 18-hole course, designed by Nicklaus Designs under the direction of Mr. Ron Kirby and opened in 1990. Complete facility includes a putting green, a practice green and short-game practice bunker.
The course measures 6326 meters from the professional tees.
The terrain slopes around most of the holes allow many viewers to follow players comfortably during competitions. The route is longer than that of Golf La Moraleja 1, but also wider and has less vegetation, thus errant shots are penalized less.
It has four lakes that affects six holes.
Noted for its beauty and its strategy the 16th hole, the green is located on a peninsula, tempting and intimidating at the same time for the player who wants to reach in two shots.
Host to numerous professional events including the World Cup.
Campo III at Golf La Moraleja Algete is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course that opened in 2013 and enriches Golf La Moraleja’s already impressive offering of Nicklaus Design golf courses. The stunning 6.830-meter Signature Golf Course is designed for enjoyable member play, yet also has the capacity to host the most important professional events.
The par-72 course gently works its way through its gentle rolling formal parkland setting. Sixty-nine bunkers and four large lakes help to create a very strategic test of golf that favors precision over power. The five sets of tees help to make the course enjoyable and playable for golfers of all skills. The course, always immaculately maintained to the highest standards and tucked away in its quiet and secluded setting, make it one of Madrid’s most prestigious golf courses.
Campo IV at Golf La Moraleja Algete creates an entirely new and different golf experience for members and guests alike. The 6.487-meter par-72 course designed by Nicklaus Design takes on a more rustic look and demands a completely different style of play than the other Golf La Moraleja courses. The shorter, yet exceptionally strategic course requires thought and creativity from players rather than power.
The course features three lakes and sixty-three bunkers that challenge players to carefully consider each shot. The linksy rolling fairways and greens offer a different look, while the tees take on a unique format here as they twist and turn like a ribbon through the native fescue grasses and shrubs. This unique golf course is sure to deliver a lot of fun and enjoyment to all.
