Jack has designed the Bearpath course on a piece of land selected for its unique topography and natural beauty. On every course bearing his signature, Jack goes to great lengths to ensure the character of the land is not only preserved but enhanced. Jack visits a prospective course site long before development begins. He looks for and takes, streams and trees that can be incorporated into his design. The true mark of a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course can be found in his brilliant shot strategy for each hole. His primary concern is giving the average golfer as much of a chance to succeed as a great golfer. Each hole at the Bearpath course features five sets of tees to match all skill levels. He has designed the placement of the tee boxes in such a way that all players will have an opportunity to hit their approach shots from the same general location that Jack would hit his, allowing every level of player a similar distance to the green.
