Pasadera Country Club becomes Nicklaus Club – Monterey

ferry point

Pasadera Country Club, the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course on the Monterey Peninsula, has been rebranded and is now Nicklaus Club – Monterey.

The new branding reflects the ongoing involvement of the most iconic champion in the history of the game, and one of the most respected brands in golf. Jack Nicklaus has always been proud of his design work at Pasadera, and now he strengthens his connection to the Club by bringing in his company’s management services and years of experience.

The “soft rollout” of this new and exciting chapter in the history of the Club has started by delivering new standards—which will align with the vision and operating philosophies of Jack Nicklaus and his company. As a part of the new management’s initial involvement, the focus will be on operating standards, enhanced service, and capital opportunities.

The new management agreement makes Nicklaus Club – Monterey the only club in the United States to be managed and branded under the Nicklaus name. The Club has identified new membership programs that position the club as both a family club with a remarkable lifestyle and as a business club that will benefit professional business growth. New Associate Memberships (under age 40) and Corporate Memberships are now available.

Nicklaus Club – Monterey is an extraordinary piece of golf architecture designed by Nicklaus. The 18-hole par-71 championship golf courses encompasses dramatic elevation changes, scenic canyons, forests of live oaks, and natural stream beds set amidst serve valleys. Native grasses and windswept bunkers give the course a mature feel as if nature had laid out the perfect golf course.

The Club features a 36,000-square-foot Spanish colonial-style clubhouse, along with an Olympic size-lap pool, family pool, five tennis courts, a fitness center and exercise studio, and new five-bedroom lodge.
