The Peninsula receives environmental awards

The 2006 Environmental Awards were sponsored by the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association and were presented at a ceremony
last Thursday evening in Bethesda, Maryland. The theme was “Preserving,
Protecting and Enhancing the Environment”. Entries were submitted from
numerous builders and developers throughout Virginia, Maryland, the
District of Columbia and Delaware. The Peninsula was awarded the trophy
for the best Environmental Land Development.
Later in the evening The Peninsula was awarded
a second trophy for the environmental Community of the Year, which is
the Environmental Award’s top honor.
