Champions Retreat Founders Offering Sets Unprecedented Record for Augusta

As of May 1st, Champions Retreat has closed on the entire offering of Founders Lots in Champions Retreat Golf Club. Champions Retreat is the new 27 hole facility designed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player – located in Columbia County. The local community has embraced the project by purchasing over $14 million through the founder offering. It is clear that the local community believes that the majority partners, EG Meybohm, Robert Pollard, and Wayne Millar, are dedicated to making Champions Retreat Golf Club and Founders Village a unique and very special place.

“Our founders are becoming more and more excited as they realize the true value of their investment” says Betty Surrency, Vice President of Champions Retreat Golf Founders, LLC. “”We believe this is the largest private placement offering for the Augusta area. Our success is due to the commitment of the local market.”

EG Meybohm, Chairman of the Board for Champions Retreat, is excited about the success. “We’ve exceeded our expectations in the terms of our lot sales.”

As much excitement is surrounding the sale of all the Founder lots, a greater excitement is building surrounding the opening of the golf course, which is scheduled for this Fall.

Even though the Founder offering has sold out, there are other real estate opportunities within the private gated community. Also, Charter membership offerings are available. The club is an invitation only membership. For more information regarding the Charter offering, please contact Brian Stock, Director of Golf at (706) 869-9800. For real estate opportunities, please contact Betty Surrency at 706-394-9645.
